STF-103B

Screen/Sock removal tool

The optional STF-103B screen removal tool is designed to make service of the pressure filter even easier.  Like the lid removal wrench the STF-103B is not required for service of the filter.  It is just convenient for installations where the pressure filter is installed deep in a pump chamber.  Installing the pressure filter so that it is within arms reach of the access riser reduces the need for this tool.

STF-105

Wire Cage

The optional STF-105 wire cage is for extremely rare instances where large amounts of debris collects in the filter rapidly.  Normally, the filter collects debris gradually and either is trapped in the sock material or back flushes when the pump turns off.  In the rare instances described above the debris can fall back into the pump.  The cage prevents this.  It can also have small sock put around it to keep smaller debris in the filter if so desired.
