STF-101 Pressure Alarm Switch |
Connect the STF-101 pressure alarm switch to the STF-100 pressure filter and monitor the pressure on the inlet side of the filter. You can use this to determine when the pressure filter requires service. We recommend this unit for commercial systems and high volume or high strength residential systems. You will need a pressure gauge or control panel or alarm as well. |

STF-107 Alert with Latching Light |
We offer the STF-107 for use with the above STF-101 pressure alarm switch. It provides audible and visual notification that the filter has reached the pressure you have set for requiring service. Usually this pressure is set to about 3-4 psi higher than your system operates at when the filter is clean. This alarm also comes with a high water float. |

Optional Socks |
The optional socks currently come in three different micron ratings. These are for use with the screen in the pressure filter for finer filtration of effluent. For most applications we recommend the 600 micron sock, but there are also 190 and 100 micron socks available. Keep in mind that finer filtration will increase maintenance requirements. The socks do however make maintenance even easier. Quite often there is no need to clean the screen when the sock is in service, simply change the sock out. It is also possible to wash the socks and reuse, but the 600 micron and 190 micron socks are economical enough to make disposal the common choice. |

STF-150 & STF-150M Lid/Screen removal wrench |
The optional lid/screen removal wrench is designed to make service of the pressure filter even easier. It pushes down over the square projection on the filter cap and then the cap can be unscrewed. Due to the taper of the wrench it grips the cap and you can then pull the cap up out of the tank with the wrench. If using the standard screen without filter socks the wrench can then be used to hook a wire attached to the screen and the screen can then be pulled up out of the tank. For units using the filter socks, see the STF-103B tool shown below. The wrench is not required for service of the filter. It is just convenient for installations where the pressure filter is installed deep in a pump chamber. Installing the pressure filter so that it is within arms reach of the access riser reduces the need for this tool. |

The more economical STF-150 is PVC and is thus susceptible to the cold (under 35° F). The STF-150M is metal and is better for use in the cold. |

STF-103B Screen/Sock removal tool |
The optional STF-103B screen removal tool is designed to make service of the pressure filter even easier. Like the lid removal wrench the STF-103B is not required for service of the filter. It is just convenient for installations where the pressure filter is installed deep in a pump chamber. Installing the pressure filter so that it is within arms reach of the access riser reduces the need for this tool. |

STF-105 Wire Cage |
The optional STF-105 wire cage is for extremely rare instances where large amounts of debris collects in the filter rapidly. Normally, the filter collects debris gradually and either is trapped in the sock material or back flushes when the pump turns off. In the rare instances described above the debris can fall back into the pump. The cage prevents this. It can also have small sock put around it to keep smaller debris in the filter if so desired. |
